Over the weekend I tested out the manual flash (yet again), but luckily this time the results were a lot better. I figured out that when shooting portraits it's better to have it on the purple setting because the light will be less intense and it won't blow out the person's face. I want to continue to experiment with the flash. My next project will be do something at night with the flash (possibly american apparel-esque).
